Organizing a concert

Technical

A concert with Shirchadasj & Band needs a location with a stage of minimal 8 meters by 4 meters. The technical crew of Shirchadasj & Band have experience in building the stage in places far from these sizes, so please ask for their help to make a choice of the location. Even if there is no stage, Shirchadasj & Band can take care of that by renting a stage and building it at the location.
Usually a theatre or a spacious church won't give many problems. Talking about energy supply: we need a minimum of 3 x 16 amp (220V) and 3 x 32 amp (380V, 60KVa). If these supplies are not available at the location, it is possible to use an aggragate that will supply enough energy. It should be a 60KVa, electronical managed aggragate.
For the setup of all light and sound equipment, the location should be available at least 4 hours prior to the concert.

Preparation

As already stated, Shirchadasj & Band would like to assist the local manager when a concert should be prepared.
We can help you with setting up a time schedule for the preparations and a publicity plan. Please don’t hesitate to ask any help!
Shirchadasj & Band will take care of the production of posters, tickets and concert guides in which the lyrics of the songs are printed. Besides that, we can supply press information, pictures, CDs or a management schedule. It is important that the local manager is supported by an enthusiastic group of people from the local community or church.

Costs

The admission fee for a concert that is organized by Shirchadasj & Band is between six and ten euros, depending on the location. This means that the local manager, when there was a successful preparation and promotion for the concert, may count on a reasonable amount of money from admission fees.
Generally this amount of money will be sufficient to pay the costs of the location, preparations and the choir with band. Sometimes it is possible to get a grant from a youth fund or outreach fund. The total costs of a Shirchadasj performance can vary. For example the distance of the location from our home base Ede in The Netherlands (travel expenses) or how much the concert location should be adapted in order to start a concert there (stage, light and sound equipment).
In some cases Shirchadasj & Band creates a fund that will be filled by the members of the choir, in order to contribute to concerts where the budget is too low.
